Why do I need a COC?
It is important to have a COC certificate issued by a LPGSA registered person, in case your property gets damaged or destroyed because of defective gas equipment or appliances an insurance company could repudiate a claim, within their rights. Having a gas leak can not only put your property at risk, but also your family’s health & well-being. Thus, having your gas installed the correct way is very important. You submit your COC certification to your insurance provider and your payment will be given to you easily by the insurance companies if you have this certificate. Please note: You can only be issued a certificate of compliance after we check that there is no leak, and your gas appliances are working properly.
